Fitz Architects were appointed to assist with the design and construction of a new bespoke home at Ramside Park, Durham, which is an executive self-build housing development. The site is located to the rear of the Ramside Hall Spa and Golf course as part of a development of 21 plots. We were required to achieve a Code for Sustainable Homes accreditation of Level 4, which included thermal improvements over and above standard building control requirements and also achieve a CO2 reduction of 25%.
Attention to detail was at the forefront of this project to ensure all aspects of the design had been thought through and implemented on site correctly.
