Ramside Park 11

Fitz Architects were appointed to design and construct a new executive home at Ramside Park, Durham, which is an executive self-build housing development. The site is located to the rear of the Ramside Hall Spa and Golf course as part of a development of 21 plots. We were required to achieve a Code for Sustainable Homes accreditation of Level 4, which included thermal improvements over and above standard building control requirements and also achieve a CO2 reduction of 25%.

The house is designed around the specific requirements and incorporates a triple height entrance hallway with feature staircase, galleried landings and a two storey rear glass wall looking onto a beautiful landscaped garden.
